Entice Interactivity with Commenting
As far as getting interactivity on your site is concerned, blogs make a living out of comments from visitors. Now a single comment is good but it would be best to answer and create a type of conversation so that you can make people feel at home on your site.
You will have your share of senseless comments which may make you lose interest in monitoring them. But for the rational ones, take some time to acknowledge their effort. It may not be that important to you, but knowing people are around who find your posts interesting may become something relevant to you in the long run.
